Shopping online just got even cooler! Google has added a brand-new feature to make online spending easier and more fun. Now, you can try on shoes using Artificial Intelligence (AI) — all from your phone or computer!
What Is Google’s AI Shopping Feature?
Earlier this year, Google started testing special spending tools that use AI to help persons see what clothes and accessories look like before buying them. By July, users could already try on shirts, dresses, and other clothes online. Now, Google has taken the next step — letting individuals virtually try on shoes.
That means you don’t have to go to a store or guess if the shoes will look good on you. With just one photo, Google’s smart structure shows you what the shoes would look similar on your own feet!
How It Works
The process is super calm.
- Search for a pair of shoes on Google.
- Tap the “Try it on” button.
- Upload a full-body photo of yourself.
Within seconds, Google’s AI creates a realistic picture of you wearing the shoes! You can even save the image or share it with your friends to ask what they think before buying.
It works the same way as Google’s virtual fashion try-on feature, so if you’ve tried that before, you’ll feel right at home.
From Clothes to Shoes — and Beyond
A few months ago, Google’s AI feature could only show clothes on models of different shapes and sizes. Now, it’s even more personal — it uses your own picture! This makes online shopping feel more real and helps you make better picks.
In June, Google also launched an app called Doppl, which uses the same AI technology. Doppl lets you see how whole outfits move and look in videos — like having a mini fashion show on your screen!
Expanding Around the World
Google isn’t stopping there. The AI try-on feature is now available in more nations, including Australia, Canada, and Japan. Soon, more shoppers everywhere the world will be able to enjoy this new virtual spending experience.
