Amazon held a big event in September 2025 where it showed off many new devices for the home. These included smart TVs, Fire TV Stick, Echo speakers, Kindle e-readers, and security cameras. The company also announced a smoother version of Alexa called Alexa+. Let’s take a look at the highlights.
Fire TV Stick 4K Select
Amazon launched a new Fire TV Stick 4K Select. It lets you watch videos in 4K quality with HDR10+ support. It comes with a new structure called Vega, which makes apps open quicker. The stick will also support Xbox Gaming, Luna, and Alexa+ soon.

Fire TV Smart TVs
Amazon also introduced new TVs under its Omni QLED Series, 2-Series, and 4-Series.
- Omni QLED Series: 60% brighter, supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, has a faster chip, and can regulate colour based on room lighting. It even uses Omnisense technology to turn on when you walk into the room. Value starts at $479.99 (about ₹43,000).
- 4-Series: Offers 4K resolution with thin bezels and faster performance. Price starts at $329.99 (about ₹29,000).
- 2-Series: More affordable with HD resolution. Price starts at $159.99 (about ₹14,000).
New Echo Devices
Amazon declared new smart speakers and displays:
- Echo Dot Max – $99.99 (about ₹9,000)
- Echo Studio – $219.99 (about ₹20,000)
- Echo Show 8 – $179.99 (about ₹16,000)
- Echo Show 11 – $219.99 (about ₹20,000)
These devices are powered by new chips designed for AI and will come with Alexa+ built in.
Kindle Scribe (Third Generation)
Amazon’s new Kindle Scribe comes in two versions—one with a front light and one without. Prices start at $429.99 (about ₹38,200). The star product is the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, which brings colour to kindle for the first time. Price starts at $629.99 (about ₹55,900).
Alexa+
Amazon’s voice assistant got an upgrade. Alexa+ is smarter, more natural, and feels like a conversation. It costs $19.99 (about ₹2,000) per month, but Prime members get it free.
New Security Cameras
Amazon’s Blink and Ring brands also introduced new safety cameras with 4K and 2K video. Prices range from $49.99 (about ₹4,000) to $499.99 (about ₹44,000).
