Google’s AI Mode Now Speaks Hindi and 4 More Languages!

Google’s AI Mode

What is AI Mode?

Google has a special tool called AI Mode. It uses artificial intelligence (AI) to make searching on Google smoother. Earlier, this tool only worked in English. That meant people who didn’t know English very well could not enjoy all its benefits.

But guess what? Google has now made AI Mode even enhanced!

New Languages Added

Google announced that AI Mode can now recognize and reply in five new languages. These are:

  1. Hindi
  2. Brazilian Portuguese
  3. Indonesian
  4. Japanese
  5. Korean

This means people in India, Brazil, Indonesia, Japan, and Korea can now use Google’s AI tool in their own language. Isn’t that amazing.

Who Shared the News?

The news was public by Robby Stein, Vice President of Product at Google Search. He posted on X (earlier called Twitter) and said the update was done because people around the world are using AI Mode a lot.

Just two weeks ago, Google also expanded AI Mode to 180 countries. Now, with more languages added, even more publics can try it!

How Does It Work?

The AI Mode is powered by a smart brain called Gemini 2.5 AI model. Google changed and trained this model so it could “think” in the new languages.

And the best part? The answers are not just word-for-word translations. The AI understands culture and context too. For example, if you ask something in Hindi, the reply feels natural, like how people in India actually talk.

When Will You See It?

Some persons already see the new languages on their devices. But if you don’t see it yet, don’t worry! It may take a few more days for the update to reach everyone around the world.

Smarter Features in the US

In the United States, Google has added extra powers to AI Mode for AI Ultra subscribers. Now, if you ask a tough question like:

“Find me a vegetarian dinner place for 6 people this Friday at 8 PM.”

AI Mode can actually search real restaurant booking sites like OpenTable, Resy, Tock, and more. It checks availability in real time and shows you a list of cafés where you can book.

It even works for event tickets with sites like Ticketmaster and StubHub.

How Does Google Do This?

Google uses tools like:

  • Project Mariner (for browsing live websites)
  • Knowledge Graph (for facts and data)
  • Google Maps (for locations)

Together, these make the search results super smart and supportive.

Why This is Great

This update means:

  • People don’t need to depend only on English.
  • Answers will match the culture and needs of users.
  • Searching becomes easier and friendlier for millions more individuals.

So, the next time you search on Google, you might get answers in your own language—thanks to AI Mode!
