The popular writing tool Grammarly has changed its business name to Superhuman. But don’t worry — the Grammarly app that helps people write better is still available. The company behind Grammarly now has a new name and a bigger goal. It wants to build a family of smart tools that help people work faster and smarter.

    What’s Changing

Earlier, Grammarly was known only for its writing assistant. But after buying other enterprises like Coda (a productivity app) and Superhuman Mail (an email service), it decided to bring all together less than one name — Superhuman.

Now, the company has four main products:

    1. Grammarly – the well-known writing assistant
    2. Coda – a smart document and teamwork platform
    3. Superhuman Mail – a fast and modern email app
    4. Superhuman Go – a new AI assistant that works across all apps and devices

Meet Superhuman Go: The New AI Assistant

Superhuman Go is the newest product introduced by the company. It is a smart AI helper that can work in any app or browser. Unlike other assistants, it doesn’t always need you to type a question or command. It can know what you are doing and offer help automatically.

    Here’s what it can do:

    • Help you write or reword emails and posts
    • Summarize long documents or chats
    • Schedule meetings by checking your calendar and emails
    • Find information from apps like Google Workspace or View

For example, if you’re planning a meeting on Slack, Superhuman Go can check your schedule and suggest the best existing time without you asking for it. It can also help you write emails or find product information when needed.

Works With Popular Apps and Developers

At launch, Superhuman Go can connect with Google Workspace and Microsoft Outlook. The business also wants creators to create their own special tools, called “agents,” using the Superhuman Agents SDK. Establishments like Common Room, Fireflies, Parallel, and Speechify have already made new agents that are available now.

    The Big Idea

Under its new CEO, Shishir Mehrotra (who earlier led Coda), Superhuman aims to make work easier with “agentic AI” — artificial intelligence that helps you robotically.

With this big change, the new Superhuman brand shows a future where your apps and tools work together smoothly, and AI handles the minor tasks for you.
