iQOO has launched the iQOO 15R in the Indian market on Tuesday. The smartphone joins the company’s flagship lineup alongside the iQOO 15. The new phone from the Vivo sub-brand features a 1.5K AMOLED display that supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which is also used in the OnePlus 15. The device includes a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700V sensor and packs a large 7,600mAh battery.
Price and Availability
The iQOO 15R starts at ₹44,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
The 12GB + 256GB model is priced at ₹47,999, while the 12GB + 512GB variant costs ₹52,999.
The smartphone is available in Dark Knight and Triumph Silver colour options. Customers can pre-book the device starting today at 1pm IST via Amazon, the iQOO India online store, and Vivo retail outlets. Early buyers will receive deliveries from March 2 at 10am IST, while open sales will begin on March 3 at 12pm IST.
As part of the launch offers, buyers can get an instant discount of up to ₹4,000 on HDFC and Axis Bank credit, debit, and EMI transactions. The company is also offering iQOO/Vivo TWS earbuds worth ₹1,899 free with select purchases.
Features and Specifications
The dual-SIM (nano + nano) iQOO 15R runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The company promises four years of Android updates and six years of security updates.
The phone features a 6.59-inch 1.5K (1,260 × 2,750 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which can reach 144Hz during gaming. The display also supports HDR10+ certification, 5,000 nits peak brightness, and 4,320Hz PWM dimming.
For performance, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. It also includes the Adreno 826 GPU for graphics.
In the camera department, the phone features a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700V primary sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera for photos and video calls.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone measures 157.61 × 74.42 × 7.90mm and weighs 202g (Dark Knight variant). It also carries an IP68 + IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
The iQOO 15R houses a 7,600mAh lithium-ion battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and bypass charging technology.
