Have you ever wanted to record a phone call so you can listen to it later? Now you can! The tech corporation Nothing has added a brand-new Call Recording feature to its Essential Space app. This new update is now progressing out to some Nothing Phones, including users in India.
What Is Essential Space?
Essential Space is a smart AI-powered app that helps users do daily tasks more easily. It first came with Phone 3 series. You can open it quickly using the Essential Key—a special key on the right side of the phone.
In the past few months, Nothing has been adding many cool features to Crucial Space, making it smarter and more helpful.
What’s New in This Update?
The latest update brings the Call Recording feature! Now, when you’re talking to somebody on a call, you can record it in two simple ways:
- By long pressing the Essential Key, or
- By tapping “Start recording” from the top of your screen.
When the call ends, the recording will automatically be stored in your Essential Space. You can listen to it anytime you want.
But that’s not all! The app will also create a written summary (transcript) of your call, showing the main points you talked around.
Which Phones and Countries Will Get It?
Right now, this feature is available only on these models:
- Nothing Phone 3
- Nothing Phone 3a
- Nothing Phone 3a Pro
It’s being released in a few countries, including India, UK, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. More nations will get it soon!
What’s Next for Essential Space?
Nothing keeps improving its Essential Space app. Recently, it added the option to share pictures, audio clips, and even tasks directly from the app. Users can now share content as pictures, PDFs, or Markdown files.
The company says these smart features will also come to upcoming Nothing phones, making them even more fun and useful to use.
So, if you have a Nothing Phone 3 or fresher, keep an eye out for the update—it’s upcoming your way soon!
