Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Battery Details Leak via EPREL Listing

Samsung may unveil the Galaxy S26 series for India and global markets at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event scheduled for this week. The company is also expected to introduce the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 alongside the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. Recently, a tech YouTuber claimed to have purchased the Galaxy S26 Ultra ahead of its official announcement. Now, listings for all three smartphones have appeared on a European certification website, revealing information about their battery capacities and IP ratings.

Expected Specifications and Features

According to reports, the three upcoming Galaxy S series models have been spotted in the European Union’s European Product Registry for Energy Labelling (EPREL) database. However, Gadgets 360 could not independently verify these listings.

The listing shows the Galaxy S26 Ultra (model number SM-S948B/DS) with a rated battery capacity of 4,855mAh, which Samsung may market as a 5,000mAh battery.

The Galaxy S26+ is listed with a 4,755mAh battery, likely to be advertised as around 4,800mAh. Both phones are said to deliver up to 55 hours of battery life and retain roughly 80 percent of their original capacity even after 1,200 charge cycles.

The standard Galaxy S26 model appears with a 4,175mAh battery, which could be marketed as a 4,200mAh unit. It may offer up to 51 hours of battery backup and maintain capacity after 1,200 charging cycles.

All three smartphones are expected to carry an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. They have also reportedly received a “C” grade on the repairability scale (A to E).

Samsung is likely to announce the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event on February 25 in San Francisco (11:30pm IST).
