Exciting news for gamers! Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is coming soon, and the makers have shared details about its multiplayer mode, maps, and beta. The game will announcement on November 14, 2025, on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Let’s take a closer look!

Maps in Black Ops 7

At launch, the game will have 18 multiplayer maps:

  • 16 maps for normal 6v6 games.
  • 2 big Skirmish maps for 20v20 battles.

During the beta, players will get to try six maps:

  • Blackheart
  • Cortex
  • Exposure
  • Imprint
  • The Forge
  • Toshin

Other maps include Colossus, Den, Flagship, Homestead, Paranoia, Retrieval, Scar, and three fan favorites returning from Black Ops 2: Express, Hijacked, and Raid.

The Battle maps are called Mission: Edge and Mission: Tide.

Each map is designed differently — some are small for fast action, while others are bigger for long-range battles.

Game Modes

Black Ops 7 will bring back general game modes and also add new ones.

Classic Modes:

  • Team Deathmatch
  • Domination
  • Kill Confirmed
  • Hardpoint
  • Search and Destroy
  • Gunfight
  • Free-For-All
  • Control

New Mode:

  • Overload (6v6): Two teams fight to control a special device.

Big Battles:

  • 20v20 Skirmish Mode: Play with vehicles, wing suits, and large objectives on bigger maps.

This mix of modes will make the game fun for all types of players.

Loadouts, Weapons & Additional

The multiplayer comes with:

  • Custom loadouts to pick your favorite weapons.
  • New weapons and equipment for each style of play.
  • Perks and Field Upgrades to boost abilities.
  • Overclock system for extra power.
  • Omnimovement features like wall jumps and tactical sprint for faster action.
  • Score streaks to reward skilled players.

You can also choose from different operators, each bringing unique skills and looks.

Beta Details

Before the full release, players can try the game in the beta test:

  • October 2 – Early access for players who pre-order.
  • October 5 to October 8 – Open beta for everyone.

This gives gamers a chance to test maps, modes, and gameplay before launch.

Upcoming Event: Call of Duty Next

On September 30, Activision will hold a superior livestream called Call of Duty Next. Here, they will share more about:

  • Multiplayer
  • Zombies mode

The event will stream at 9am PT (9:30pm IST).
