A new game called Arc Raiders has become super widely held just a few days after it launched! The game came out on October 30 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X. It’s an action-packed “extraction shooter,” where players team up to fight enemies, collect loot, and escape securely.

Right after its release, Arc Raiders reached more than 300,000 players playing at the same time on Steam! According to SteamDB (a website that tracks games), it even hit a high of 354,836 players during the vacation. That’s a lot of gamers having fun together!
At the time of writing, over 150,000 people are still in performing the game. It’s now one of the top five most played games on Steam, even beating big games like Battlefield 6 on the Top Sellers list. This means Arc Raiders is the amount one selling game on Steam right now!

What’s Coming Next: The 2025 Roadmap
The makers of the game, Embark Studios, shared some exciting news about what’s coming in the future. They plan to release many updates in 2025 to make the game even better.
- November Update (North Line): A brand-new map called Stella Montis, new weapons, quests, and community events. Players will also face two new Arc machines (enemies).
- December Update (Cold Snap): This will bring snowy weather, new events, new Raider decks, and more quests to enjoy.
The developers also promised to fix bugs, make gameplay slicker, and keep improving the game based on player response.
